Milan Mrvaljevic: Professsional Biography

Milan Mrvaljevic was born on 25.08.1956 in Kotor, Montenegro. Since 1970 his permanent residence is in Belgrade, where in 1979 he completed his studies in mathematics at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.

He began his professional career in 1980, as systems engineer in the firm ENERGOPROJEKT ENERGODATA, becoming in 1982 project manager for banking automation. He took part in the development of the country's first commercially oriented TIM computer line. From the position of Director of Marketing and Sales he was assigned by Energoprojekt in 1990 to the position of Deputy Director General of an Italian-Yugoslav joint venture company, OLIVETTI-ENERGODATA.

Since January 1993 he is the Director of Belgrade-based BIZNIS LINK consulting company.

During his professional career, he published a considerable number of professional papers.

He is one of initiators of the nongovernmental organization Forum for Information and Communication Technologies of Serbia and Montenegro, being also its president. He has launched and is also Director of the Festival of ICT achievements - INFOFEST, the most important ICT event in this country.
