Session II Accelerated Telecommunication Infrastructure CURRICULUM VITAE Bill Zikou, President , South East Europe Bill Zikou was born in 1951. In 1956 he migrated to Australia, where he lived and worked until recently. He is married and has three children. He studied Electric Engineering (BA) at the University of Melbourne, where he also got a Master in Business Administration (MBA). He has been working in the telecommunications industry for 25 years, having attained great experience in the sectors of manufacturing, sales and marketing, as well as services. He has been holding key positions in Ericsson for many years, having worked both in Australia and Sweden. During the last 18 years he has been actively involved in the company's field of activities in Asia. During the period 2000-2001 he was Chief Operation Officer in Ericsson Australia. Since 1/10/2001 he has been appointed President of Market Unit South East Europe, Ericsson. |
