Mimi Larsson : Professional Biography

Mimi Larsson has conducted research for and about the Hungarian Telecottages through the past two years, first as part of her own research activities about the NGO-sector in Hungary and later as a consultant for the Hungarian Telecottage Association's (HTA's) company Telehaz Kht. Currently, she is invited research fellow at the Information Society and Trend Research Institute at Budapest Technical University in Hungary while working on an extended master's thesis about democratisation and telecottages in Hungary to be presented to the department of Ethnography and Social Anthropology at Aarhus University, Denmark. In 2000 Mimi Larsson spent 7 months as a volunteer for the Foundation for Development of Democratic Rights (FDDR) in Budapest, while conducting research. In 2001 she had a 6 months internship with the research project Demstar at the Institute for Political Science, Aarhus University and a short journalist internship over the summer at Noyan-Tapan News Centre in Yerevan, Armenia.
